About The Gallery

MiCK, Sydney’s newest Art Gallery will continue the tradition at 44 Gurner Street Paddington of exhibiting the work of contemporary visual artists.

This exciting new phase is the newest chapter in the Gallery’s long and interesting history dating back to the 1970s when it first opened as an Art Gallery.

Monthly exhibitions of represented artists shall feature in the downstairs gallery. The Level 1 Gallery will show Australian and international sculptors in conjunction with the Gallery’s alliance with Sculpture by the Sea International, along with selected contemporary Private Treaty artworks.

The Gallery is the long-term project of its Director, Megan Dick, who has more than ten years experience with commercial gallery management, private art brokering and Arts-related PR.

Megan is joined by Gallery Manager, Caroline Jones, who has been working in the auction world for the past ten years, most recently head of Australian art at Menzies Auctioneers.
